How Old IS the Human Race?

From anomalous artifacts to ancient skulls and bones, Micheal Cremo's views on how old humanity is serves to challenge the mainstream science's view on human existence on this planet, which are based for the most part on the Darwinian theory; and state that modern humans are less than 200,000 years old and that before this were more ape-like and primitive In Forbidden Archealogy, Cremo states that humans are in fact, millions of years old. He gives archaeological evidence that modern humans have been in America for over 270,000 years. In France, bones have been found that were over 400,000 years old.

 He states that his research was inspired by ancient Sanskrit writings from India, and especially from the Puranas, which are historical writings. In his research, he states there is much primary research that proves this assertion but that this information falls through the cracks and does not make into secondary sources; such as can be found in current survey studies, textbooks and the like. In reviewing his work, he gives excellent sources and specific data for his assertions; all in all, a very good argument for his beliefs.
